Guard vessels FOGA Aps arranges chartering of fishing vessels, suitable for work tasks, as: Bird observation platform, Surveillance of vulnerable subsea installations Rejection and information of fishing vessels, operating equipment at the sea bed with the risk of damaging their gear and/or the subsea installations.

Aim: FOGA’s aim is to supply assistance of experienced fishing skippers as marine advisers to the offshore-industry and To contribute with establishing communication between the fishery and offshore Industry and thereby create a cooperative environment.
History: FOGA ApS was founded in 1982 upon the initiative of pipeline Operators in the Danish sector on the background of a requirement of an independent company,functioning with consultancy, facilitating both the fisheries– and offshore operator’s interests.
Management and employee’s: Bo Fyhring Sørensen is general manager in FOGA ApS and Jenny Knudsen is operation manager.

Operations at sea: Agner Svendsen Peter Lassen Schmidt Senior consultancy: Lorenz Lauridsen Kim Mikkelsen Niels Bonde Thorvald Børsmose The fisheries consultants are approved by the Danish fisheries associations on the background of their maritime qualifications and expertise, gained from practical experience with all fishing methods and –equipment used at the North Sea and knowledge of the local environment, subsea hindrances and local fishing vessels.
Information of offshore activities Are distributed weekly to 320 Danish fishing vessels and organisations, when an activity, relevant to the fishermen’s environment, is taking place. The information is printed with a nautical chart as background, enabling quickly the fishermen to obtain an overview of the offshore work. Descriptions of the operations are printed at the back page.
